Twister Restaurant, a local Ukrainian inspired by nature

Twister is a very special restaurant in Kiev: the impression that the interior designer Sergio Makhno and Vasiliy Butenko wanted to give rooms of this restaurant is to be able to feel excited and protected like children, but at the same time to meditate, contemplate , just relax as you could want in adulthood.

The inspiration that the designer had in fact to make these interiors goes back to nature in its various manifestations: thus not only to living creatures, but also furious elements, like rain (imitated by the lights “drop”) or tornado (identified in some way in the form of bars).

The special coating on the walls instead recalls the structure of bird nests, with the intent to accommodate and surround the visitor, while the decor curiously reproduce the shape of conifers, replication and repeating with a different meaning.

The chromatic choice is inspired by nature, with colors like ocher, beige, brown or wheat, which give a further sense of relaxation to visitors.
