New Chair for Offecct Khodi Feiz

The inspiration came watching those ‘moments’ in which we are only committed to sit down. Reflecting on all the activities we do when we sit: the moments when we read, drink a cup of coffee, work and converse. “Moment” is based on an analysis of these situations.

Describes the designer Khodi Feiz the key to interpreting the work necessary to get his “Moment”: a chair in search of new functional solutions, which reflect more of our daily actions, just like the old wooden chairs in classrooms with a shelf integrated into the structure.

“We wanted to create a chair that was a hybrid, a piece consisting of two interconnected features, taken together. [...] The act of opening and closing (the shelf) insists on the concept of private and public, suggesting to others if we are willing to talk or engaged in work as a kind of indicator, “says Feiz. The result is a simple, elegant and comfortable, which will be presented by Offecct during the next edition of the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February.
