Architect Igor Gremitsky found himself facing a big challenge, when the owners of this apartment in St. Petersburg, Russia, have entrusted the task of rethinking the interior. The customers have asked to make a professional interior design in all respects inspired by the triumph of frills, a style that belongs to the past, but obviously someone still fascinates: the Rococo. Thus, in addition to the furniture style chosen, the architect had to provide coatings and color line: it the parquet floor joins the silk with which the walls are covered, while the large, majestic chandeliers, as mounted on ceilings mirror, greatly amplify the light, illuminating pastels also rather live, on velvet, silk brocade and more. One can also see frescoes and decorations, which make it perfectly the idea of ??a princely palace of early eighteenth century. Surely a luxurious style, expensive, but also very unusual for a type of home as the apartment, especially in the modern era … the owners are certainly passionate about history!
