Workshop is the name of the first collection of furniture and furnishings of high design conceived and designed by the multifaceted Lapo Elkann. Inspired by the passion that feeds to the engines , the young scion of the Agnelli has produced a truly astonishing furniture high design for the historic Italian brand Meritalia. This is a collection designed by recycled materials typical of the automotive world that includes table Dining Roll Roll and the table Boing Boing and lamp Wroom Wroom . For his debut in the design world , Lapo Elkann Meritalia chose the prestigious brand and has launched its brand new series of furniture and home accessories inspired by the whole world of engines. And so that each component has a nice and original onomatopoeic name that recalls the environment of automobiles and workshops : The dining table is called Roll Roll and is realized through old tires , the table Boing Boing is formed by springs harmonic steel with details in rubber and the hanging lamp or ground Wroom Wroom is designed in stainless steel with oxidized finish and innovative LED lighting . Workshop is not just a product line characterized by design captivating and original lines but is also environmentally friendly thanks to a collection choice of recycled materials and production processes with low environmental impact.
