Open Room no . 1 is the name of the curious office designed and built by world renowned French designer Matali Crasset for the eccentric brand Established and Sons. This is a real room inside another room , a space organized and well designed that has no real walls but well- established boundaries . Inspired sufficiently explicit to the colors and forms De Stijl, Matali Crasset designed a homogeneous group of furniture and office effect guaranteed. It’s called Open Room no . 1 and the number of furnishings and office accessories designed in 2009 by the great Matali Crasset Signature Collection for Established & Sons. This is a single composition , a homogeneous space and unit that offers everything you need to work a corner. The space is structured around the table with a desk top in wood conglomerate laminate top and opaque while the structure is made of extruded aluminum powder coated white. From desk to articulate a whole series of shelves and containers made of powder coated steel in different colors. The result is a surprising dynamic composition and functional playing on geometric shapes and bright colors.
