Valdemar is chair padded Normann Copenhagen launched this year ‘s at the Furniture for the pleasure of audience and critical design. The concept is simple and modern , the seat features wings that create a private space that invites relaxation and pleasure of the user using the simple concept of proxemics, Related to the space that is in direct contact with our body and exclusively by ourselves or people we love. Valdemar has the power to create a space for our leisure a chair that is unique and character to our living. The inside of the chair has a naturally rounded shape , in contrast to the outside instead is a bit ‘ edgy . Valdemar is covered in felt also on the legs , finished the ends with balls wood colored , black, green , tan and blue. Valdemar was designed two designers in tune with the brand Normann Copenhagen and focused on the design of an interior that combines graphic design and comfort. These are their words : “These days there is a great need for closeness, peace and contemplation. To achieve these objectives we need to create furniture that place and that specific space, a place just for you. Our aim was to create furniture that was both a chair and a comfortable chair .
